Am I Just Crazy, or Determined?

Well tonight was cardio night, and it was by far the most difficult workout to date. I have been running a slight fever today (finally found the dang thermometer!) and a splitting headache to go right along with it, so am I crazy for working out anyway? Umm, yeah, pretty much! I am fighting being sick, that's all there is to it. I should feel fortunate that I have not really been sick in over 8 years, but....I'd forgotten what it feels like to BE sick! Kind of weird, uh? I seem to have a new determination to keep going, which is a great thing! So I could put it off no longer! My cardio was done tonight on the stationary bike, and just two minutes into it at a regular pace, my legs already felt completely drained. And completely unlike the jelly feeling I sometimes get after a complete workout. But I kept pushing, and pushing. I was only able to increase my speed three times throughout the entire workout, but I did complete 20 minutes. Did I hit a 10? Yes, but certainly not the same kind of 10 that I normally would. This is the first time I have ever had sweat literally rolling off me, as I'm just not a sweater, but nevertheless, with the fever, the sweat was pouring! When I was done, I had to just sit there for a few minutes. My entire body was shaking! So I ask again, am I crazy for working out like this? Maybe, but tonight, I think I finally proved to myself that I can do this! I'm not going to post my today's menu because I'm just not up to it, but I had completely clean eating again today! Thanks Lori for encouraging me to give it a go! And...a half hour later, I do feel a bit better!
