What Would You Do If You Won the Lottery?
I'm not a very materialistic person, although there are a couple of things in my life I just HAD to have, such as my Jeep! I could live without it though, and lord knows it would be easier to get by month to month without it! There aren't a lot of things that I want (which drives Bobby insane around holidays and our anniversary!) , but I do have sinister moments of daydreaming of winning the lottery! Just for fun, I thought I'd post some of the things I've daydreamed about doing if I won the lottery, or just if I could have anything I wanted and funds were limitless (wouldn't that be nice?). So here's my top 10 list.....and I want everyone to feel free to post their own on their blogs if they think it would be fun!Top 10 things I would do if I won the lottery:
1. Pay off both cars and credit card - but would probably keep both cars
2. Give my Dad money to have long overdue repairs made on his house and roof
3. Put money in trust funds for our children for college and future, and set money back for ours
4. Get Bobby his "toy" either a motorcycle or off-road Jeep/truck
5. Buy 5-10 acres of land for #6, and maybe invest in some other land for retirement
6. Get a bigger house that would accomodate all of us without feeling like sardines!
7. Give money to our close family members
8. Donate to either cancer or asthma research
9. Build a workshop on our new property for Bobby and his toys to pursue his passion of working on and maybe restoring old cars (starting with my 67 Mustang?)
10. Quit my job, and take up a part-time job instead. I would still have to work, or I'd go nuts!
So there's my list! Oh yeah, so I'm a dreamer! "One cannot survive without dreaming, for if we stop dreaming, we stop living!"
BFL: I had a pretty good day today. My eating has been clean, although I did have some bad cravings hit me this afternoon. I bummed a piece of sugar-less gum off of a co-worker, and it did the trick! I have cardio tonight, but it will be after American Idol!
