Damn That Hurts SO Good! LOL
Had a really good full body workout last night, and surprisingly the only things that are sore tonight are my calves! I still don't think there's much hope for my good ole calves, but it's nice to know there's still some feeling left there! Let me explain...I have monsterous calves. Circumference wise, they're not too bad. But there isn't much shape to them, which makes them look even bigger. You know what cankles are? Mostly used to describe rather large calves and ankles where you can't tell where one ends and the other begins, right? Well..I've got them! Not due to excess weight mind you, but because of the water retention problem I have. I retain in the ankles and calves. Pain in the butt really. I get excited when I can actually see my ankle bone! lol. Ahhhh. It's the little things! Anyway.....the calves got hit pretty hard last night, as did everything else. Only I'm not sore anywhere else. I have been working harder since we got the home gym, but I haven't been sore since. This concerns me a little. Why am I not sore anymore? I can't do the chest excercises on the machine very well...so I use mostly dumbells for that. Maybe I'll have to go back to the barbell? I felt like I hit my legs really hard, but they aren't sore either. What the heck? I'm already maxed on the leg press, at the highest weight possible, so I'll have to figure something else out there. Working my abs pretty hard too, and have been doing push ups every workout, which I never thought I'd do! lolEating has been clean....but I'm still crossing my fingers. Tonight is hopefully my last smoking night, so I have some to squeeze in! Now I'm off to do my cardio....and man is it going to hurt these fat calves! lol
