HAPPY NEW YEAR! AND A NEW BODY!
Happy New Year all ye merry blends! We are having a laid back New Year's Eve (in fact, it's 2 minutes till midnight, and where am I?!) We just have never celebrated New Years like most folks. Mostly because we don't know any people around here, and we have outgrown the party stage, so we stay in, rent a movie and just RELAX! Oh...we hear fireworks outside! Yep, it's officially the year 2006! Yippeeee!Reflecting on 2005, it really was one of the best years...2004 only topped it because that's when Bobby and I got married! But...life has been sweet ever since, so 2005 wasn't any less! 2005 was really a mile mark, for I discovered BFL and finally found hope to the senseless and madness of yo-yoing and avoiding excercise! I've learned a lot about my body, and am starting to be proud of my body! (well...not this week!) For the year 2006, I see a lot of good things coming! 1. I will be the fittest I have ever been in my life! 2. My son will officially become a teenager (god that makes me feel old!) 3. I HAVE to quit smoking and will be talking to my doctor about alternative methods since I can't seem to kick the habit on my own 4. I feel a change coming with my full-time job 5. I will get to meet some blends!
Now...Bobby and I have been talking and have decided to forego finishing C2, and just start C3 on January 2nd like most of you. Even though I really wanted to see C2 through, the challenge wasn't really going all that well anyway. With all of the hype and motivation out there right now, it may help get our drive and determination back up if we are in synch with everyone else. Plus..what a better way to start out a new year? The "week" doesn't really matter anyway because this is for life, right?
Goals: Since I didn't even come close to meeting any of my goals for C2, I am going to dredge up the same goals that I had on October 31 at the beginning of C2 as follows:
1.STOP SMOKING!
2.123 pounds
3.Drop my bf% to 14.5% (I wanna see some abs, damn it!)
4. Get some of the fat off of my inner and outer thighs, and tighten up the back of my legs!
Let's all make Julie proud!
