Secret Pals and Decorating The Tree - AGAIN!

Just to check in, I've still been having pretty good workouts, although I know I'm going to miss my UBWO tomorrow night. I will probably make it up Saturday. Tomorrow is going to be a long day for me. I work from 7:30am-4:30pm, then go straight to my other job and work 5:30pm-10pm. Doesn't leave any time for dinner or a workout. We are having what we call our Secret Pal luncheon tomorrow, so I'm bumping my free day up a couple of days. We have had a secret pal all year long, and get goodies all throughout the year from them, and tomorrow is when we find out who our secret pal is, and we have a huge food fest! My office is horrible with food days, usually having at least 2 a month, of which I have not been participating at all for the past 6 months. This is a bit different, as we are doing our party in one of the conference rooms and everyone bringing a dish and enjoying lunch over revealing our secret pals. I made a sweet potato casserole, which I'm just dying to dive into! So...I will have control, but am taking my free day. This is going to throw off my little test though. Sundays are usually my free days, and I just dropped my calories back down, and was looking forward to see if it worked! By cutting myself short by 2 days, I may not see a difference on the scale! ***sigh****

It was interesting trying to wrap my secret pals gift tonight, with Meeko on one side crawling into the box every time I turned around, or Jasmine on the other pulling the tissue paper back out of the same box! I got so fed up with fighting the kitties while trying to wrap a present that I finally threw another box on the other side of the room for them to take over! What is it with cats and boxes? They really can be cheap entertainment! lol. They seemed to have a ball yesterday while everyone was gone too. We just put up the small tree this year because we didn't feel like dragging out the big one. When we got home last night, the poor little tree was upside down on the floor! I ended up having to redecorate the tree all over again. (Thank you very much, Meeko!) Ahhhh...I love them. They really do have such personality!
