Just Another Day in Paradise!

Well, I'm doing better this week, but still not quite back to where I should be! I do good with the eating about 3-4 days in a row, then I cheat. What the heck is wrong with me? I hope it's just TOM playing with me, and all will go back to normal in a few days! Or...why is it that the 2nd challenge seems so much harder than the first? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? I haven't missed any workouts this week, and I've had some really good ones this week! I remembered to work in one of my goals....stretching. I've been doing toning and stretching excercises, alternating days. It really seemed to help when my legs were so sore from my LBWO. Still having trouble hitting any 10's on cardio, don't know how to hit them with my limitations, but I keep plugging along anyway.

A couple of other things....I decided not to go to my 2nd interview with that company. I did some more research on the company, and came up with some disturbing things, and well..let's just say it's not my cup of tea! Oh well...I have a decent paying job with security, so I guess I'll hang out for a while longer! And completely OT from anything else here...my daughter seems to be having some issues in school all of the sudden. She's always been a straight A student, but she brought home 2 D's on her progress report. She pulled them up to C's by the end of the quarter, but now...just in the past week and a half, she's gotten 2 misconducts! First one was pretty much unnecessary, but the 2nd one she for sure earned! This is SO unlike her! She's always been the good student, suck up to the teacher, etc..now she's being a little devil. And my son...who I've always had to get on to about his homework, always just pulling C's, is all of the sudden the A student, and everyone's favorite! It's kind of like ParentTrap, but with brother and sister! It's so weird! Anyway, I've already told her that one more misconduct will result in a suspension (and she doesn't like the idea of being the "bad" kid who got kicked out of school!), and she's been warned that if she has one more mishap she will have to drop soccer and basketball. I hate using sports because she really needs them, with always struggling with her weight, and I'd hate to let any team down by pulling her out, but she has to realize that extra curricular activities are a priveledge, and she will not continue getting "priveleges" if she keeps up the attitude!

Ok...enough rambling..On Soldier's On! (he he!)
