Smelling The Roses.....Life is Sweet!

Well thanks to all for encouraging me to spill the beans! It really did help, just getting everything out! Was a busy, busy lady yesterday. Had the day off, took the kitties in to the groomer for baths, went to the vet's office to get them some flea stuff (no more fleas!!!), came back home and hopped on the computer, got ready for my interview, set the flea bombs off in the house, and took off! Had a great interview, but it will be awhile before I hear more. Picked up some applications for a part-time job, then came home and relaxed before starting dinner.

I've been eating clean the last 4 days, and I'm excited about that! I've also had 5 great workouts in a row, and lordy my hamstrings are still killing me from Wednesdays' workout! Ahhh....but it's a GOOD hurt! lol. I'm all excited about our new treadmill (and a free one at that!) Today we rearranged the basement to be more accomodating for our workouts. Even though the basement is still only partially finished, we got excited with the results! We still have to work on the stairs (the previous owners did a sloppy job and the stairs are crooked!), have to make an extra door for the storage area because we will be turning part of the huge storage area into the boys room, and the bathroom needs to be gutted completely. We decided it won't take much to finish the main area, so we can re-lay the carpet that I tore out when I first moved in here 3 years ago. But..until funds get better, I've decided to go ahead and paint the walls that we will not be working on. Can't wait to get started! I'm also going to paint a murel going across 3 walls to make it seem like a tropical setting, as we love tropical! I need to start with a base coat anyway, so I hope to be starting that within the next few weeks! The murel will take a while though, as I still need to sketch everything out, and I want to take my time on it to make it look real, you know? TOM has me doubled over while writing this, but that's ok.....the beast hasn't won yet, cause I'm gonna kick it's butt doing cardio tonight! (uhh...after the Midol kicks in that is!) Overall, this week started out sloppy, crappy and downright disheartening, but my excitement level, motivation, spark and drive is back full force, and I'm so happy to keep going!

Love you all! Everyone have fun this week, and work your butts off,! (especially those looking forward to that cruise, you lucky ones!)
