What Do You Do When.....
You and your beloved go out and buy living room furniture, but when it's delivered you realize that it's way too big for your living room? I'm not kidding, I've moved the furniture around about 20 times and haven't been happy with how any of it's laying out. Part of it is that we just got a corner desk that has to go in the living room, which takes up one of the only two corners..both of which are on the same wall! I never realized until now that I have a fetish. What's driving me insane about this is that I cannot center any of the furniture on any wall! I guess "balance" of the look is important to me because it's driving me absolutely nuts that I can't have the couch on a main wall! Then there's the issue with the end tables. They are twice the size that we thought! OMG, these things are monsters! For now, I ended up putting one of them in our bedroom, and bringing out a smaller one for the living room. So even though we have new furniture, we have 3 unmatching end tables in the room! lol. We definitely needed the furniture, as our old stuff was more than 10 years old, and we didn't have enough seating for all 6 of us...but it wasn't supposed to be this hard! It makes the room look even smaller than it is, but I think once I'm done decorating it, it will look nice and cozy.Clean eating today....and get this, today our department had a get together in a conference room for the other girl in our group..her birthday. I helped cut and serve Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake but I didn't so much as even lick my finger! Whooohooo!
Cardio was pretty good tonight, late, but good!
