We've Been BUSY!
This is what we've been up to! We are redoing our living room! As I've said before, we are trying to get the smaller things done since we can't do the basement or kitchen yet. I'm really wanting March to get here so we can finish the basement and put another bedroom in down there. The kids are so cramped, especially the boys. I feel bad about that. We are probably going to have to bring a contractor in on some of it. That's funny. We can't even afford to get the materials yet! So...next spring will be the big remodeling. We have a really small house, can't move...so we want to make our little home what they call a "gem!"
Ok...before I bought this house, I'd never had anything but white walls. Well, I've been venturing out! The other two rooms we've already remodeled have wonderful colors. By the time we're done, there will be no more white walls! Whoohoo! A few weeks ago we decided to paint our living room in a sage color. But last weekend we went shopping for new living room furniture (taking advantage of a 5 year no financing!), but we ended up picking out a living room set that was sage! So I had to start all over again with picking out paint! I had a really hard time deciding on a color that would accent the furniture, but I think I finally got it. We are doing the prep work now, taking down ugly wall border in the dining area, filling nail holes, gashes, sanding, etc. We will paint this weekend, and we have all the kids. That should be fun! lol. I'm determined to have it done before the furniture arrives! Then Bobby has to do the trim, and I want molding on the ceiling, but he's still hemhawing me on that one. We are replacing all of the cheap trim in the house as we go along. I forgot to take pictures of what it looked like before we took down all of the pics and trashed the place! But I can tell you, it was pretty boring!
I missed my workouts the last two nights, but am doing two workouts tonight and tomorrow night to catch up! Man I'm tired!
