Let The Countdown Begin!

Thanks for all of your comments regarding Zack. I'm sure things will be fine, as life will continue to be a roller-coaster, uh? And I don't even want to talk about the raging hormones! lol. Both of my kids went through puberty before the age of 9, so we've already had our fair share there! And Rachel, don't let any of this scare you from being a parent! I wouldn't trade being a parent for anything in the world! Things they say and do make me constantly laugh! As much as we talk about problems with our children, those times are few and far between compared to all of the enjoyment they bring!

Well, the countdown has begun! I have just 4 more days in the old office, then a nice, long 3 day holiday weekend...then I start my new job! Shit is about to hit the fan in my current office though. One of my co-workers just turned in a self-nomination form for another position in a different department. She's only been in our department for 9 months, and has tried to get out three times already. It's really a great job to have, but I know she only took this job to get out of her old department so that she would be free to apply for something else. She's just out for the money, doesn't want to do anything, and doesn't. My boss is going to have to turn down her self-nom form. They can do that if the possibility of the person leaving the department puts the department in a bad situation. And with me already leaving, it would drastically hurt the department. She's going to stomp around and whine for the next week. I'll be happy just to get some space from that one! She's always so negative that it just puts a damper on everyone's mood.

I did pretty good this past week. I didn't cheat once and was able to make up all of my workouts, although I did shave 5 minutes off of my last cardio session because my legs were too exhausted from the full body workout the night before! My week stats were: lost 3.5 pounds = 133.5 and bodyfat from 18.0 to 17.1. Lost some inches too! I'm getting back there! I have high hopes for this week as well, but already know I have to take freeday early. My office is treating me to lunch at a really nice restaurant on Thursday and it's pasta....so I know it will stick to me like doughnuts on thighs!
