Last Day On The JOB!
Well, this is it! My last day in this office! It's really, really quiet here today. It appears that most people on both floors either took a vacation day today, or left at noon to get an early start on the holiday weekend! I'm a bit sad to be leaving, as I've made some great contacts, and I've been flooded with e-mails from Memphis, Kansas City, Wichita, Omaha, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City from all of the salespeople and managers I've been dealing with for the past year and a half. And I will miss this group dearly, as it's a great bunch! And I just love my supervisor!
I'm both nervous and excited about starting my new position on Tuesday. With a management position, I know there's a lot more responsibilities and expectations. I look forward to the challenge, yet I'm also SO nervous! I have no doubt that I can do this though, and do a great job!
We had a great lunch yesterday, and I did ok- I ordered a whole wheat pasta w/shrimp and chicken entree. My co-workers got me a cool looking Pony-Tail Palm Bonsai tree to take to my new office. I absolutely love it! I think the afternoon is going to drag since it's so dead here..but the day's almost done!
