Setting New Goals
Well, it's 1:30am, and I can't sleep. I have a god-awful tummy ache after enjoying free day a little TOO much! So I'm thinking...why not put this time to good use? I've been thinking about my goals for C2 for the past few days, and giving a critical eye at my final pics of C1, I've come to a few conclusions. Apparently, the bf % navy calculator does not seem to recognize the flab that still remains on my legs and thighs? Because I certainly DON'T see me being 17.7% body fat! More like 19-20%, which makes me think, what's it going to take? With Bobby in Chicago all this coming week, we are not starting C2 until October 31st. Please, please, please, let me NOT undo all that I have done! I am going to stick to the eating plan, and continue the excercise program this next week, although not as strict on the excercise. My knees need a break! Now, about my goals.....all of which, will be more challenging because of my first goal.......
1. STOP SMOKING! That's right...I have that NASTY habit! And I'm a severe asthmatic. Pretty smart uh? (No, I don't think so either!)
2. I was 2 pounds short of reaching my weight goal, but nevertheless, I am setting a new one. My goal by the end of C2 is 123 pounds (not my ultimate goal, but I'm taking baby steps here!)
3. Drop my bf% from 17.7% to 14.5% (I wanna see some abs, damn it!)
4. Get some of the fat off of my inner and outer thighs, and tighten up the back of my legs!
5. Stay away from the scale! Only weigh in every 4 weeks, as I drive myself nuts!
6. Work on stretching. I do not do any stretching...my goal now is to try to lengthen the leg muscles, making my legs "appear" longer and leaner.
This last goal is my alternative to cranking up the lower body. I cannot step it up with weights much more, as my knees are suffering already. I had both knees operated on as an early teen, resulting in all of the ligaments being severed on my outer lower thighs. Now with the colder weather hitting, the arthritis is starting to kick in. With no physical therapy, I have let my legs go for more than 20 years! When I look at it like that, I can't really expect the results that I want in just 12 weeks! I may take me 2 challenges, 3 or maybe 4!
But one thing is for sure...I WILL get there! There's no turning back now!
There! Now I have it all down before me, so I can hold myself accountable to stick to my goals that I have set before me!
Now...
On Soldiers On!
