Today is MY DAY!

Well, every day I'm getting more and more bored with Tracker, so I come here! The "juice" just seemed to be sucked out of Ttracker after tempers flared. And for what? I'm actually pretty disappointed. I haven't been there nearly as long as a lot of people, but when I came on board, there was just so much "energy" and life...but now? There's just nothing going on, and I find that very sad, as I enjoyed it so much! Oh well, on soldiers on!

I've declared today, "Mom's Day!" I'm taking a break from all of the running around that I usually do on Saturdays (3-4 games between all the kids), and just staying home and doing what I want to do! There's only 1 game going on today, so I don't feel like I'm missing much! (but BAD Mom!) Bobby is working all day, and the kiddos with our ex's, so it's just me, and I do the best cleaning alone. I've been so bummed out lately about how this house isn't as clean as I used to keep it, so I'm cleaning, cleaning, cleaning today! I just finished sweeping and mopping the living room, so I thought I'd take a break while that dries and do some blogging! I'm SO glad I'm getting into cleaning...just doing the living room, I found cat hair everywhere! (yuck!) Really! I thought the cats would be gaining coat, with it getting cold! I think a lot of it is, they have fleas and keep scratching and yanking out all of their coats trying to get to them! I have an appointment set up for them, but they only do cats on Fridays, so I can't get them done until Nov 4th when I have a vacation day scheduled. Poor cats are suffering in the meantime! Have no idea how they got fleas in the first place, they've never been outside! We went through this a few months ago, and I gave them both flea baths, treated the whole house, while Bobby treated the yard (thought maybe the kids were bringing them in!)

And while I'm talking about cats, you ever try mopping with one cat hanging from the mop like it's some super cool ride? Hard to get anything done that way, and whenever I kick her off, she cries like a baby! I still have a lot to do though. Dusting, then mopping and cleaning down the kitched from top to bottom, then the main bath..and I'll probably stop there for today. Tomorrow...the BOY's ROOM! I've warned them several times, that if they didn't pick up all of their stuff thrown around their room, I was going to just go in there one day and start pitching everything. Well...the time has come! I did this to the girls room two weeks ago, and when they came back, it was almost hysterical. "Where's my...." , "what did you do with...." Trash, trash, trash! They had plenty of warning! So today, if you need a chuckle, just think of me be-bopping to loud blarring music while sweeping, mopping (with a flying cat hanging!), vaccuming, not a care in the world!
